Hocine Sidi Said is the founder and director of Bio-nAbler and is also an additional director at Glen mark pharmaceuticals Ltd, an India based company. Hocine Sidi Said has also worked with UCB as a Senior Vice President. Before joining UCB, Mr. Hocine Sidi Said spent over 19 years at Pfizer in various management positions in the Middle East, Central and Eastern Europe and Asia. During his tenure of four years at Pfizer India, Hocine Sidi Said served as Managing Director.
Pfizer is one of the largest pharmaceutical companies and of the highest spenders in pharmaceutical R&D globally. Pfizer in India has made significant clinical research investments in India.
During Hocine Sidi Said’s tenure as the Managing Director, Pfizer India recorded a growth of 10.4% in net sales and profit after tax was 188%. Hocine Sidi Said has always focused on delivering a proper business solution thereby enabling the alliances of Pfizer India with Cognizant for providing high-end business process outsourcing solutions in the area of clinical data management and biometrics. While in Pfizer India, Hocine Sidi Said appeared in various interviews where he gave his views on R&D, emerging markets, intellectual property, philanthropy, business and technology.
Hocine Sidi Said also handled the merger of Pfizer India and Pharmacia India Ltd, and merger of Pfizer India and Parke-Davis Ltd.
Hocine Sidi Said has been contributing to the pharmaceutical industry for the past two decades now, in spite of not having a degree in the pharmaceutical field. Hocine Sidi Said, who is French and Algerian, is actually a Business Administration graduate from Paris. He also holds a management degree from Paris. He started his career in Pfizer as an intern and since then his career graph has always been rising. His success can be attributed to his management and entrepreneurial skills.
